Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) Women and Friends are hosting the seventh annual NEO Expo and Craft Fair in the Calcagno Family Ballroom on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free and community members are invited to attend.

Merchants from across the four-state area will offer crafts and services and give community members a chance to shop local and regional vendors for art, clothing, hand-made jewelry, specialty foods, and much more. This year, the NEO Women and Friends are supporting the construction of an outdoor classroom. To raise funds, they will be selling chances on a raffle basket that includes nearly a dozen items donated by the NEO employee vendors. Tickets will be $1 each and 6 for $5. The NEO Honors Program will also be selling chances to win a piece of Oklahoma wall art.

“We’re really excited this year to be fundraising for NEO’s students as part of a campus project to build the NEO Outdoor Centennial Classroom,” said Donna Hale, NEO First Lady and executive director of NEO Women and Friends. “We’re partnering with Student Body Government, the NEO Development Foundation, President’s Partners, and the college archive to build a lasting tribute to this college’s one hundred year history in a way that will benefit our students well into the future. The NEO Expo is always a great day for shopping and supporting our regional artists and crafters, but this year we’re especially proud to share our excitement with everyone in support of a great project.”
Many of the event’s most popular vendors are returning in 2019, including Nana’s Naturals, Blessed Boutique, Marty’s Jewelry, and many more. Some of the new vendors participating in the craft fair will be, J Bae Boutique and Randee Craghead Photography. Jordan Harrison, owner of J Bae Boutique is eager to debut at this year’s show. “This is our first time showing at the Expo and I am really looking forward to the incredible atmosphere,” said Harrison. “I opened J Bae in 2015 with moccasins for babies and toddlers and it’s expanded into my full-time job with a variety of leather goods.”
