The Department of Natural Sciences offers programs designed to meet the needs of students who want to continue their formal education and transfer college credits to a four-year college or university to pursue bachelors degree or professional program.

Faculty advisors are available to assist students in planning a course of study according to individual needs and career goals.

NEO offers courses in chemistry, physics, astronomy, and geology. These course are designed to satisfy lower-division requirements leading to a bachelors degree in these and many related fields of study. Many of these courses also satisfy the general education curriculum at most four-year colleges and senior institutions.

The Biology program offers lower division courses for students pursuing a bachelor degree in biology, marine biology, botany, zoology, ecology or cellular/molecular biology. Students can complete all courses to satisfy the general education requirements and lower division science courses for transfer to any university in Oklahoma and most colleges or universities in surrounding states.

The pre-med program offers lower division courses that satisfy most requirements for admission to schools of medicine, pharmacy, optometry, dentistry, dental hygiene, physical therapy, or physician's assistant in Oklahoma & surrounding states. After completion of the AS degree at NEO, students transfer to a university to complete further requirements.
