You will need to have a Gold Key account to access your online course work.  This means if you are enrolled in an online course, OR a face-to-face course that has online features, you must create a Gold Key Account.  In addition to getting access to your online course materials, creating a Gold Key account will give you access to the "Campus Alert" system, which is a great way to receive notices, via text message, that the campus is closed due to weather or other disasters.  A gold Key account also grant you access to various MIcrosoft Office titles as covered under the campus agreement.

It takes 24 hours after you create your GoldKey account for D2L (Desire 2 Learn) to authenticate that account.  This means you will not be able to create a Gold Key Account and immediately log into D2L.

Effective Summer 2009 NEO A&M College will begin using Desire2Learn (D2L) for its learning managment system.  This system is very similar to the old platform (WebCT), but offers more -user-friendly features, and a more comprehensive learning environment.  ALL USERS MUST HAVE A GOLD KEY ACCOUNT TO ACCESS D2L.  Please read the "Important Information" on this page to create your Gold Key Account.
