All students eligible for graduation must complete the following steps prior to graduation:
- Graduation Survey. The survey can be picked up within the time frame set by the Testing Center, Library Administration 2nd Floor. You may contact the Admissions & Registrar's Office or the Testing Center for dates and times for the Graduation Survey. This survey provides valuable information concerning the effectiveness of NEO. This survey is also your key to receive your cap and gown. If you will not be participating in the ceremony return your survey to the Admissions & Registrar's Office.
- Exit Assessment. The assessment must be completed within the time frame set by the Testing Center. You may contact the Admissions & Registrar's Office or the Testing Center for dates and times of the Exit Assessment. The exit assessment is used to help NEO determine the effectiveness and track how we, as an institution, are educating you, the student. The amount of time to complete both the survey and the exit assessment will take approximately one hour.
- Exit Interview. If you have had financial aid loans you must complete an exit interview. You can complete the exit interview in the Financial Aid Office or you may do the exit interview online. Official transcripts can NOT be released until after the exit interview is completed and the Financial Aid Office clears the Exit Interview transcript hold.
- Graduation Fee. You must pay a $20.00 graduation fee to receive your diploma and pick up your cap and gown. The business office can be contacted if you are unsure if the graduation fee has been paid.
