NEO SOCCER
The Soccer Norsemen finished off their inaugural season on a high note by winning 5 of their last seven games. The two non-wins included one tie against Cowley County and a loss to nationally rank Northern OK. “We looked good in the second half of the season, we found a way to generate a lot of offense and even recorded a few shutouts” Coach Parrigon. The team will now turn to off season work outs to gear up for a brief spring season, but more importantly begin training for the 2009 campaign. “The team and I are excited about the potential of our program. We have begun to understand each other and the team system well. With the bulk of our players returning we should have a strong showing in 2009!”
Our Mission It is the mission of NEO soccer to provide a quality, and competative soccer experience while advancing the academic careers of its student athletes. The NEO Soccer Team will compete at a high level, showcasing the talent of its players so that they can move on to a 4-year school at the end of their tenure as a Norsemen. Coach Parrigon expects each of his players to perform in the classroom in order to set up a better life for themselves after soccer.
