Eric Iverson is from Tulsa and a graduate of Will Rogers High School. He now lives in Grove, OK with his wife Keni and two daughters, Lauren and Emilee. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove where he serves on the Pastor Parish Relations committee. He begins his 13th year as Head Coach of the Lady Norse Softball program.
1992 to 1995 - Asst. Baseball Coach NEO A&M College
As assistant coach Iverson's responsiblities included infielders, hitting, recruiting, and 3rd base coach. In 1993 NEO was Region II Champions, District B Champions, and finished 3rd place at the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, CO. Iverson also had the honor to coach major league All Star, Jason Dickson (Anhiem Angels). Iverson also was selected as head coach of the Sooner State Games in 1994.
1996 to Present - Head Coach Lady Norse Softball
In his 13 years as softball coach at NEO Iverson has led the Lady Norse to 569 wins versus only 125 loses and an 82% winning percentage. In 2007 he became the All-time winning coach in any sport at tradition rich NEO. He was the first coach in NJCAA Region II to achieve 500 collegiate wins (all as head coach at NEO), and is the All-time winning coach in NJCAA Region II softball. Iverson has led the Lady Norse to 9 Region II championship games, and has won 3 Region II titles (2000, 2007, 20008). In 2000 Iverson was named District Coach of the Year when the Lady Norse finished 3rd at the NJCAA National Tournament. The Lady Norse placed 4th in the 2007 National Tournament.
Coach Iverson has coached 17 All Americans and 58 Region II First Team selections. In 2007 NEO placed 5 players on the NJCAA All American list. Coach Iverson has served as both president and vice president of the NJCAA Softball Coach's Association.
Travis Norwood Assistant Coach
Travis Norwood enters his third year as assistant coach for the Lady Norse. Travis graduated from Chelsea High School in 1985 and from Northeastern State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. He is married to his wife Mary and they have two children, Mariah and Tanner. Travis is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Miami and is currently teaching high school math at Miami High School.
Before assisting at NEO, Travis was the head softball coach and baseball coach at Picher High School. During his 8 years at Picher he compiled just under 200 softball wins and coached 6 all state players. The Lady Gorillas made 3 OSSAA State Tournament appearances and in 2003 Coach Norwood was selected to coach the Small East team for the OSSAA All State Games. The first 7 years of Travis's coaching career was done at Chelsea High School where he coached both football and baseball.

Kevin Panter Strength Coach
“KP” is a Miami, OK native and graduated from Miami High School in 1982. He graduated in 1991 from NEO and in 1994 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in health. He is currently serving as the academic resource teacher for Will Rogers Middle School. Kevin is married to his wife, Susan, and
they have two daughters, Keylie and Kyrie. He is also a member of the First Christian Church of Miami.
From 1990-1992 Kevin served as the assistant wrestling coach & head strength coach for the NEO wrestling team. He had 5 young men qualify for nationals where NEO took home a 3rd place team finish. He also had one athlete finish as a two-time National Champion at the NJCAA National Tournament. In 1992-1993 he was the assistant strength / conditioning coach for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. In 2000-2002 Kevin worked along side Eric Iverson as assistant coach and head strength / conditioning coach and helped the team prepare for their 3rd place finishat the NJCAA National Softball Tournament.
