I came to NEO as a student in 1963 and transferred to Northeastern State University in 1965. I graduated from Northeastern State with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics in Secondary Education in 1967. After teaching mathematics one year in the Joplin Missouri High School I served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 until 1972. After I was discharged from the Navy I returned to Miami, where I taught mathematics at the Miami High School and completed my Masters Degree in 1975, coming to NEO in the fall of 1977. I continued my studies in mathematics and physics at Pittsburg State University.
I have served NEO as a Mathematics Instructor, Mathematics Department Head, and Dean of the School of Agriculture and Natural Science. The School includes the Agriculture, Natural Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Drafting Departments.
I believe NEO is the best two year college in the nation, and am very happy as a part of this great institution.
