STUDENT-RIGHT-TO-KNOW
In accordance with the federal Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act of 1990, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College is reporting completion and transfer rates for a select group of students. This report reflects a four-year average for students who entered NEO during the fall semesters of 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.
The student group, as specified by federal law, includes only students who were:
• Enrolled in credit classes FULL-TIME,
• Entered college for the FIRST TIME, and
• SOUGHT A DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE.
Definitions:
Completion: The student completed an Associate in Arts Degree, Associate in Science Degree, Associate in Applied Science Degree, or a certificate within 150% of the normal time (typically 3 years for an associate degree).
Transfer: Students are only counted in one category; therefore, the transfer rates only include students who transferred to another institution in the state of Oklahoma before completing a degree or certificate at NEO. Students who transferred out-of-state are not counted. Currently there is no national database to track out-of-state transfers.
The first-time, full-time, certificate or degree seeking students not counted in the rates below may have continued their education at NEO, transferred to an institution out-of-state, or withdrawn from college during the reporting period.
