Ray Farms is seeking a full-time Alpaca Ranch Manager.  Duties will include the complete care of Oklahoma's largest alpaca ranch that includes 150+ alpacas, several aging llamas, and a small herd of shetland sheep on adequate acres.  The ranch manager must attend shows and show the animals.  S/he will need to meet with prospective customers and transport the animals to a local vet or OSU vet hospital.  S/he will be in charge of upkeep of the premises with a ranch hand and outside help available.  His/her first priority will be the health of the alpacas.  A residence and utilities will be included.  The salary is negotiable and a degree is not required.  However, training in animal husbandry is strongly desired and early experience on a ranch or farm would be an asset.  Those interested in applying should call 918-487-5188.
