Welcome to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College! With on-campus housing and a variety of student clubs and organizations, NEO is the largest two-year residential college in the entire state of Oklahoma. NEO has also produced record growth of college graduates.

For a century, NEO has been preparing students to be successful in life. We offer over fifty programs, ranging from associate degree programs and options to certificates, from our five academic departments. These departments range from the Agriculture Department, with its long tradition of outstanding practical training, to the Allied Health, Nursing, and Physical Education Department, which prepares students to lay the groundwork for a successful future in high-demand career fields.

We pride ourselves on low student-to-teacher ratios with dedicated faculty. Faculty members like our Faculty Senate President Alisen Anderson, an alumna who has taught agriculture at NEO for nearly a decade. Anderson has led the way in NEO’s agronomy research, the newest area of study in the agriculture program. Students have an opportunity to get hands-on experience in the cultivation and harvest of soybeans, wheat, and pecans.

Many students also make use of transfer agreements with surrounding four-year universities. We’ve partnered with universities throughout Oklahoma and the region, such as Northeastern State University, Oklahoma State University, Missouri State University, and Pittsburg State University, to provide a seamless transfer to four year degrees. By completing general degree requirements through NEO, students have a low cost alternative to a university, without missing out of the university experience.

NEO is also the only two-year college in the state of Oklahoma that can offer its student-athletes a state-of-the-art, intercollegiate athletic experience. From football to softball, National Championship Equestrian and wrestling, volleyball and soccer, NEO has a rich tradition of athletics. With fifteen sports, agriculture, and spirit teams, we are is dedicated to offering student-athletes a chance for a quality education while competing in the sport they love. Part of that tradition is that 50 Golden Norse Football alumni have played in the National Football League. Our football program was the first on campus and continues to be the perfect stepping stone for athletes to reach their academic and athletic goals.

NEO has ensured that success is attainable for students from all backgrounds. We strive to provide step-by-step assistance through the admission and enrollment process. NEO features the Center for Academic Support and Advisement to ensure students are on track to graduate on time and have a solid plan once they leave NEO. The Student Support Services program provides tutoring, supplemental instruction classes, career exploration, financial and personal counseling, and workshops on study skills for eligible students. And each year, nearly $17,000,000 in financial assistance is provided to NEO students. Our Tutoring Center pairs students with professional or student tutors to ensure coursework mastery. NEO also offers courses at the NEO Grove Center at Grove, Okla. and online for students at a distance.

At NEO, students are proud of their decision to become Norsemen. In only two years, we enable our students to obtain an associate degree that will grant them limitless opportunities. Whether transferring to a four-year university or entering into the work force, NEO students are prepared for what is ahead.
