Advising Athletes and Co-curricular Activities

  • Men’s Soccer
    In the Fall, all classes need to be over by 1:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursday and by 3:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In the Spring, all classes need to be over by 2:00pm.
    All players are encouraged to take lab sciences in the Spring even if it conflicts with practice times.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Women’s Basketball
    All classes need to be over by 12:00pm/12:15pm.
    All players, especially incoming Freshmen, are encouraged to take lab sciences in the Spring even if it conflicts with practice times.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Men’s Basketball
    All classes need to be over by 3:00pm.
    All freshman players are encouraged to take lab sciences in the Spring even if it conflicts with practice times.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Women’s Soccer
    In the Fall, all classes must start after 8:30am and need to be over by 3:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursday and by 3:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In the Spring, practice is from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
    All players are able to take lab sciences in either semester, but it is best to avoid Thursdays.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Cheer and Dance
    All classes need to be over by 3:00pm.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Volleyball
    All classes need to be over by 1:00pm.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Horse Judgers
    Horse judgers need to be enrolled in EQNE 1101 (Freshman in Fall), EQNE 1121 (Freshman in Spring), or EQNE 2212 (Sophomores in Fall).
    Practice is on Fridays at 1:00, students need to stay away from Friday classes at 1:00.
  • Theatre
    All classes need to be over by 1:00pm.
  • Wrestling
    All classes need to be over by 2:30pm.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Softball
    In the Fall, all classes need to be over by 2:00pm. In the Spring, all classes need to be over by 2:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and by 10:00am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
    All players are encouraged to take lab sciences in the Fall even if it conflicts with practice times.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Concert Choir
    Students need to be enrolled in MUSC 1641. This class meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00-11:50am.
  • Chamber Singers
    Students need to be enrolled in MUSC 1641 and MUS 1661. These classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00-11:50am and Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:30-4:30pm. Students must audition and qualify before being enrolled.
  • Football
    All lab classes should be done on Mondays or Thursdays.
    Practice is at 2:00pm on Mondays and 3:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Fall.
    It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 15 hours.
  • Livestock Team
    Students need to be enrolled in ANSI 2112.
    Students are encouraged to be done with classes by 2:00pm, but can be flexible.
  • Equestrian Team
    Students need to be enrolled in EQNE 2012 or EQNE 2022.
    Practice is every morning 7:00-9:00am.
  • Band
    Students need to be enrolled in MUSC 1601. This class meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00-3:00pm.
  • Golden Blues Jazz Ensemble
    Students need to be enrolled in MUSC 1601 and MUSC 1671. These classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00-3:00pm and Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm. Students must audition and qualify before being enrolled.
  • Berserkers Basketball Band
    Students need to be enrolled in MUSC 1601 and MUSC 1321. These classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00-3:00pm and Mondays and Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm. Students must audition and qualify before being enrolled.
  • Rodeo Team
    Rodeo team need to be enrolled in AG 1111 (Freshman in Fall), AG 1211 (Freshman in Spring), AG 2111 (Sophomores in Fall), or AG 2211 (Sophomores in Spring). It is recommended that they are enrolled in at least 13 hours. It is recommended that students in a Pathways Program are enrolled in at least 10 hours from NEO and at least 3 hours from a Pathway school.
