Recommendation

  • No classes after 1:00 p.m. due to athletic training activities
  • May have one afternoon lab, if necessary

Recommended Plan of Study for students without deficiencies

1ST SEMESTER

  • HHP 1713 Introduction to Athletic Training
  • HHP 2602 Community First Aid
  • ENGL 1113 Freshman Composition I
  • MATH 1513 College Algebra
  • FYE 1011 Freshman Year Experience/CLS 1021 for students with 2+ deficiencies
  • Additional general education course, i.e. CS 1103 Computers in Society, history, government, humanities

2ND SEMESTER

  • HHP 2663 Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries
  • HHP 2733 Procedures in Athletic Training
  • BIOL 1604 Zoology
  • ENGL 1213 Freshman Composition II
  • Additional general education course, i.e. CS 1103 Computers in Society, history, government, humanities

*Requirement for an athletic training major is to take INTRO first, then CARE & PREVENTION and then PROCEDURES in athletic training. This order of classes is the proper sequence.
