Welcome to the Agriculture Department at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College where students have the opportunity to learn with both classroom and hands-on experience. NEO has a 200 acre farm, equine facilities, indoor arena, and much more.

The Agriculture Department offers students a wide range of disciplines to study. The Associate in Science degree is designed to prepare students for transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at a four year college. NEO students can choose from degrees in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Ecology Management, or Pre-Veterinary Science. The Agriculture degree offers students the flexibility to prepare for a variety of agriculture majors at a senior college. Our classes fulfill most of the lower division courses for a bachelor’s degree in various Agriculture programs and options.

The Agriculture Department also offers an Associate in Applied Science degree in Equine and Ranch Management, with options in both Equine Management and Ranch Management. This degree plan is designed to prepare students for jobs in a variety of jobs related to equine and ranch management. A portion of the classes may also transfer into a bachelor’s degree program. Faculty advisors work closely with students to help select a program and courses to meet their academic goals and career goals.
