Greetings from the Foundation Chair
The NEO A&M Development Foundation judiciously administers a diverse investment portfolio which has awarded over $1.6M to more than 1,945 students in financial support since its inception in 1983.
Our mission is to continue increasing the Foundation’s assets to provide financial support to prospective and current NEO students who possess the highest qualities of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship.
The Foundation could not enjoy this record of achievement without the extraordinary generosity of you and our many loyal benefactors. We celebrate good fortune, not good luck, and are filled with gratitude for those who contribute financially or provide gifts of time and guidance in making the NEO Foundation a steward of hope, stability, and transparency.
NEO Foundation Scholarships are awarded to students with special qualifications, such as academic, athletic, or artistic achievement. Awards are also available for students who are interested in specific disciplines of study, are members of certain underrepresented groups, live in certain areas of our state or country, or who demonstrate financial need. Aid is also provided to support NEO faculty and staff, and important NEO programs and events.
The Foundation understands each year begins anew with no guarantee of investment success moving forward. We continue to maintain growth by staying focused on prudent investment and spending to provide maximum program resources both near-term and far into the future. The coming years offer unprecedented opportunity, but alongside budgetary challenges, both embraced by the Foundation.
Whether it be by Cash Donation, contributions to Campaign Events, Property Donations, the Prestigious Presidential Partners Program, or other Financial Assistance or Volunteerism, your generosity and charity provides hope and opportunity for scholarship recipients to receive educational excellence from NEO.
Throughout its history the Foundation has benefited immeasurably from the exceptional talent of its Board of Directors. This year the term ended for Carol Calcagno who served the Foundation tirelessly and selflessly for 14 years. Dr. Clark McQuigg and Jonas Rabel recently joined the Board and we look forward to their active participation.
Please explore our Foundation page for ways in which you can actively participate in graciously contributing a gift of donation, or time, for those pursuing educational opportunity. You can also contact me, or our exceptional Executive Director Ms. Jennifer Walker, for any questions about the NEO Development Foundation.

Welcome from the Director
Dear Alumni and Friends,
It is an honor to serve as Executive Director of the NEO Development Foundation. As a native of Miami and NEO alumna, I am proud to be a third generation of NEO graduates, so my roots as a Norseman run deep.
From academics to athletics, the NEO Foundation has worked to support student scholarships, faculty development, building projects, and campus initiatives. Founded in 1983, the NEO Foundation has awarded more than $2.5 million dollars in scholarship funding to deserving NEO students. For many of these students, realizing the dream of a college education would not be possible without support from the NEO Foundation.
Led by an enthusiastic Board of Trustees, the NEO Foundation has experienced dramatic growth the past few years. By focusing investments on long-term growth while balancing the wishes of our donors with the needs of the college, the Foundation has nearly $8 million in assets.
We remain grateful to our alumni and friends for the tremendous support of the NEO Foundation. On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of NEO A&M College, thank you for your generosity. Together we will continue to carry on the tradition that makes each of us proud to call ourselves Norsemen.
Once a Norseman, Always a Norseman,
