The NEO Adult Learning Center is here to help you sharpen your skills. We offer free GED and HiSET Prep classes to aid you in improving your academic skills in Math, Language Arts, etc. to assist you in obtaining your High School Equivalency (HSE) certificate.
For whatever reason you may have had not to receive your high school diploma, you can still earn a state-issued high school equivalency credential which you can use to advance your career, join the military, begin a training program or continue your education. Passing the GED or HiSET test proves you have the same academic knowledge and proficiency as a high school graduate. Once you pass, the state of Oklahoma will issue you a high school equivalency credential. The credential helps you move your life in a whole new direction!
Our Academic Skills-HSE prep classes are open to those 18 years of age or older. 16 & 17 year old students may attend with a signed and notarized release form from their parent/guardian and local school district. You must also complete and turn in this form if you are 16 or 17 before you will be allowed to register to take the GED or HiSET test. This form can be Downloaded here or picked up and turned in to our office, Dyer Hall, Rm 218.
The educational skill level of each participant is assessed at the beginning of class. We then use one on one tutoring, whole class instruction, and computer programs tailored to meet your needs.
Classes are offered in Craig, Delaware, and Ottawa counties. Give us a call today and check us out!
