Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) is preparing for this year’s annual homecoming celebration, “HOMEcoming on the Range,” set for Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Red Robertson Field, where NEO will take on the Blinn College Buccaneers. T-shirts for “HOMEcoming on the Range” will be available in the NEO Bookstore. Homecoming week will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 2, with the Homecoming Kickoff and NEO is inviting the community to join the celebration and enjoy games, food, and fun. Dinner will run from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. by the NEO fountain, and wristbands for food will cost $7 for adults, $5 for ages 5-12, $3 for NEO employees and their children, and students are free with an NEO ID.

NEO will also continue the tradition of the homecoming pageant on Thursday, followed by a Friday pep rally, and game day celebrations, starting with the NEO Outstanding Alumni Banquet, begin at noon.   “Homecoming is always a special tradition, and this year NEO is celebrating its centennial as well. NEO A&M College has always had a strong Agriculture department and we felt it was fitting to pay tribute to our Aggie roots, so this year we chose HOMEcoming on the Range as our theme,” said Athletic Director Joe Renfro. “We believe our student body will enjoy this theme and we expect to have a lot of fun with the activities. We are also very excited that our 1969 Football Championship Team will be here to celebrate their 50-year reunion with us during Homecoming.”

Partnering with the NEO Development Foundation, Frank Fletcher Toyota in Joplin, Mo., has renewed their $10,000 commitment to sponsor homecoming activities and the NEO Distinguished Lecture Series.   “On behalf of the Kansas City Toyota Dealers Association and Frank Fletcher Toyota, we are very honored to renew our commitment to NEO A&M College and the NEO Development Foundation,” said Jim Adams, general manager of Frank Fletcher Toyota. “We feel that NEO sets the example for affordable educational opportunities in the four-state area and we at Frank Fletcher Toyota in Joplin are thrilled to be part of their commitment to quality education.” For more information, contact Lisa Severe at 918-540-6327 or lsevere@neo.edu.
