The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO), Development Foundation will host its 13th Annual Fundraising “Fall Festival” on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6:00 p.m., in the student union’s Calcagno Family Ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money to provide scholarships and support the mission of the NEO Foundation. This year’s event will feature a Roaring 20s theme, complete with dinner, entertainment, photo booth, as well as a live and silent auction.  Guests may choose to come dressed in 1920s attire for a chance to win some great prizes.

Back by popular demand, this year’s event will again feature student servers who are excited about the opportunity to provide an entertaining evening with all cash tips benefitting NEO scholarships. “Many of the students serving at the event will be students who have benefitted from a foundation scholarship,” said Jennifer Hessee, executive director of the NEO Development Foundation. “For several of these students, realizing the dream of a college education is only possible because they received a scholarship provided by generous supporters of the NEO Foundation.”

The Fall Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the NEO Development Foundation. All of the proceeds earned will be returned to students. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $220,000 allowing the NEO Foundation to assist more than 800 students with scholarships. Businesses and supporters of the college have donated hundreds of items for the auction. Among the auction items are an NEO tuition scholarship, golf packages, Big Cedar Lodge vacation package, sporting tickets, spa packages, and dozens of gift baskets, just to name a few.  Brian Mooney, owner of Welch Livestock Market, will serve as auctioneer. Tickets to the event are $40 and must be purchased in advance. To purchase your ticket, please call NEO Development Foundation at (918) 540-6115.
