Student Housing Complex

The Student Housing Complex is located on the Southwest corner of the NEO campus and houses a population of 80 students made up of student-athletes and non-student athletes.

The complex offers three styles of suites.

  • 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom/1 Person (ADA Room)
  • 2 Bedroom/1 Bathroom/2 Person
  • 4 Bedroom/2 Bathroom/4 Person

The 2 Bedroom Suites are furnished with twin beds, 4 drawer chests, table desk and chair, closets, full-size bathroom to be shared by the residents, leather loveseat and chair, coffee table, end table, TV console, kitchenette with sink and counter space, parsons table and 4 chairs and A/C and Heat controls per unit.

The 4 Bedroom Suites are furnishes with twin beds, 4 drawer chests, table desk and chair, loveseat, chair, coffee table, end table, TV console, kitchenette with sink and counter space parsons table and 4 chairs, 2 full-size bathrooms, and A/C and heat controls per unit.

The ADA 1 Bedroom Suite is furnished with a twin bed, 4 drawer chest, table desk and chair, closet, full-size bathroom, leather loveseat and chair, coffee table, end table, TV console, kitchenette with sink and counter space, parsons table and 2 chairs and A/C and heat controls per unit.

The 1st floor Main Lobby entrance features a Gas Fireplace, Elevator, Internet Bar, Laundry Facilities and all outside doors are access controlled. The 2nd floor features a Community Kitchen, Community Room (meetings, study groups, lectures etc…). The outside activities include a Rubberized Sports Court, Firepit with seating and an Amphitheater.

Dyer

Dyer Hall

Dyer Hall one of our male dormitories, houses approximately 90 Golden Norseman Football residents. With three floors, the first floor has a pool table, television and seating area where the students can get together and watch their favorite television show. Vending machines, microwaves and laundry facilities are also provided within the dorm. GO GO NEO!!!


Dobson/Harrill Hall

Dobson and Harrill Residence Halls house approximately 342 female residents. Dobson and Harrill Halls are adjoined by a large lobby which houses a big screen television and seating areas where students can get together and study or visit with guests. Each hall has three floors which feature community rooms with 27” televisions, microwaves and comfortable seating where students can study, have a snack or entertain friends. The first floor in Dobson Hall is a 24-hour quiet-intensive study floor. Each room in Dobson and Harrill are equipped with free local telephone service, free basic cable, heat and air control and DSL service for quick access to the internet. The first floor in each hall features vending machines, change machines and pay phones for student use. Harrill Hall houses our Student Health Services, which is open Monday thru Friday 8:00AM until Noon. Laundry facilities are located in the basement where students can study while doing their laundry. Vann

Vann Hall

Vann Hall, one of the men’s dormitories, houses approximately 178 residents and is equipped with handicapped facilities. With three floors, it has three separate lobby areas where residents can watch t.v., have a snack, or entertain guests. Vending machines and laundry facilities are also provided within the dorm.


 

Russell

Russell Hall

Russell Hall, one of the male dormitories, houses approximately 178 students. With three floors, it has three separate lobby areas where residents can watch television, have snacks, or entertain guests. Vending machines, microwaves and laundry facilities are provided within the dorm. We often provide programs within Russell Hall such as, Super Bowl parties, domino tournaments, and movie nights. Come join family fun!


***Due to limited electrical capacity NEO has restrictions on electrical appliances that students may use in their rooms.

  • Prohibited Items: halogen lamps, open coil cooking appliance, toasters, microwaves, portable heaters, toaster ovens, sun lamps, broadcasting equipment (short-wave citizen band, etc), air conditioners, George Foreman Grills(any size) and candles or incense.
  • Students may have: Clocks, hand irons, hair dryers, curling /straightening irons, shavers, electric blankets, lamps, stereos, computers, popcorn poppers, televisions, VCR’s, DVD players, coffee pots, ice tea pots and cappuccino makers.
  • Pets are prohibited: Fish, dogs, cats, turtles, sheep, lambs and rodents etc…
  • The resident’s rooms come with extra long twin mattresses. We suggest that you purchase extra long twin sheets.
  • Laundry rooms are equipped with washers and dryers.
  • Students may bring their own refrigerator if it is smaller than 4.4 cubic feet.
  • All resident halls are equipped with Broadband high-speed internet.
