Music studies at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College offers students the opportunity to receive individual instruction in all major performance areas and to be involved in a variety of ensembles. Music students at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College are provided numerous performance opportunities, many of which would be offered only to third and fourth-year students at larger four-year institutions. Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and the Theatre Experience are just a few. Our faculty is dedicated to each student’s individual progress and success. Small class sizes ensure more individualized attention to meet that goal. The facilities for the music program are Commons Hall, containing a 120 seat auditorium, large class room space and many practice rooms, and The Swanson Band Room, newly renovated for our growing marching and instrumental bands. Also, The Fine Arts Auditorium, located in the Fine Arts Center is a 876 seat proscenium stage that provides a performance space for theatre productions, musicals, concerts, dance recitals and many other events on campus.
