Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) will welcome Chelsea Levo, economic development director for Owasso, Okla., as the emcee for the annual NEO Development Foundation Fundraising Gala. “A Golden Night” is the 15th annual fundraiser and will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m., in the Calcagno Family Ballroom of the Bruce G. Carter Student Union on the NEO campus. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and individual tickets are available for $65 and can be purchased at the NEO Foundation Office in Dyer Hall.

Chelsea Levo has worked for the City of Owasso for nearly nine years. She grew up in Miami and is an OSU alumna, holding her Bachelor’s in Journalism and Broadcasting. A lifelong public servant, Levo has served on the Chamber of Commerce in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. During her time with the City of Owasso, she has performed a variety of duties, including job recruitment, business development, research and data collection, and marketing programs. “We are excited to have Chelsea serve as this year’s emcee,” said Jennifer Walker, executive director of the NEO Development Foundation. “Chelsea literally grew up on this campus while her dad, Chuck, taught marketing classes at NEO. She has great passion for education and a lot of enthusiasm for her hometown. Guests of the event are sure to have a great evening.”

Levo will serve to emcee the evening, which includes dozens of items donated by businesses and supporters of the college for the live and silent auctions. Among the live auction items are 24 hours of NEO tuition, a vacation package valued over $2,000, and a Big Cedar Lodge vacation package, just to name a few. A limited number of tickets are still available for $65 and must be purchased by Friday, Oct. 28. For more information, or to purchase tickets, please call the NEO Development Foundation at (918) 540-6115.
