The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Development Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2015-2016 academic year. The deadline to apply is March 1.  While several general scholarships are available, many of the scholarships are geared toward specific degree majors and require an enrollment of at least 12 hours and minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA).  Foundation scholarships also require a one-page student essay, which is weighed heavily by the scholarship selection committee. Scholarship recipients will be announced in the spring. A complete listing of scholarships and criteria, as well as applications are available online HERE . Information can also be picked up in the NEO Development Foundation Office, located on the second floor of the NEO Library.

The NEO Foundation annually awards more than 100 donor-directed scholarships created by alumni and friends of the college who believe in the importance of a college education. “This past fall the NEO Foundation awarded $65,000 in scholarship funding to deserving students,” said Jennifer Hessee, executive director of the NEO Development Foundation.  “There are no income guidelines, so students who are not eligible for financial aid are strongly encouraged to apply.” For more information, please contact Jennifer Hessee at 918-540-6250.
