FreemanThe Development Foundation at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) is announcing a new scholarship provided through the support of Freeman Health System. The Freeman Athletic Training Scholarship will provide $500 a semester to sophomores interested in pursuing a career in athletic training, who have contributed to overall athletic department goals while a freshman. “Freeman Health System has been a long-time supporter of NEO and its athletic programs,” said Jennifer Hessee, executive director of the NEO Development Foundation. “This generous gift to establish a scholarship will greatly assist the academic success of our student-athletes.”

A panel of Freeman and NEO representatives chose students. Among this year’s scholarship winners were Cordell Jackson, Lennia Skye, Courtney Hagar, and Makayla Hamm.
