Members of the Staff Association at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) awarded Melanie Stegeman and Jamie North as the Staff Members of the Month for September and October.  Employees of the college nominated Stegeman and North for their work ethic and dedication to the college. Melanie started working for NEO as the Administrative Coordinator for NEO Grove in January 2013.  She serves as an academic advisor for our Grove students and is sponsor of the Grove Student Council.  She is also a member of the Grove Rotary and helps to head up their student program.  She and her husband Rob just had their first child, Emma Jean, Sept. 8.

“Melanie has done so much to help make NEO Grove more student-friendly and efficient in its operation.  She is a great asset to NEO, our students, and the Grove community,” said Shannon Cunningham, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Jamie North is a cashier in the business office and has been at NEO for a year and a half.  Jamie is a Board Member for Bluejacket Public Schools. She is married to Chuck North, and they have three kids between them, Dani, Kade, and Terrell.  “Jamie goes above and beyond every day. She will take the extra time to help students with anything they ask, and she is always friendly to students and staff/faculty,” said Michael Allgood, Controller/Assistant Vice President of Fiscal Affairs.
