NEO recently presented Arvest Bank Miami with the Regents Business Partnership Excellence Award. The award recognizes successful partnerships between Oklahoma’s higher education institutions and local business partners that enhance the higher education environment. Over the last nine years, Arvest Bank Miami has contributed over $60,000 to support students at NEO. These donations have been used to support various projects and programs, such as the Love’s Cup small business team and the Phi Beta Lambda business club.

Most recently, Arvest Bank Miami designated a $7,500 donation to provide educational materials in the NEO Agriculture Greenhouse, which will begin construction this fall. The project will create new opportunities for the cultivation and sale of various agriculture products, such as flowers and vegetables. “We are honored to recognize Arvest Bank for truly being a partner with us,” said Dr. Kyle Stafford, NEO President. “They fully understand the impact higher education has on individuals and the community, and we are thankful for their continual commitment to enhance NEO and its academic programs.” In addition to their support of NEO, Arvest Bank Miami was recognized for their longstanding dedication to the Miami community. Arvest Bank Miami has supported teacher awards, classroom stipends, and funded the First United Methodist’s backpack program to fight child hunger as part of the 1 Million Meals initiative.
