NEO Band Hosting Annual “Ragnarok” Performance
Ragnarok Poster 2016

Miami, Okla. – Wednesday, April 13, 2016 ¬- Members of the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) Norwegian Legion Marching Band and NEO Music will perform their annual “Ragnarok” show Thursday, Friday, and Saturday April 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. in the NEO Fine Arts Auditorium. NEO students and children under 12 are free and admission is $5 for all others.

In Norse mythology, “Ragnarok” is a series of events that lead to the destruction of the world, but also a glorious rebirth. NEO Band Director Adam Compton applies “Ragnarok” to the end of one school year, but the promise of another. The concert will be an interactive musical experience that promises to delight the whole family.

“Whether you like marching band, jazz, or contemporary music; this concert will have something for you,” said Compton. “We use sets, lights, movement, and crowd participation to bring the show to you. Come alone or bring the whole clan!”

Tickets will be available at the door. For more information about “Ragnarok,” the Norwegian Legion, or NEO Music, contact Adam Compton at acompton@neo.edu.
