The NEO Equine Judging Team traveled to the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio to compete in the largest single breed horse show in the world. Along with several individual awards, the NEO team claimed Reserve Champions and Fourth Overall ranking at the congress. The team competed in the Junior College Division where students judged twelve classes and gave five sets of reasons for each placement. NEO took second in halter, second in performance, and first in reasons. Now the NEO teams prepare to leave for Oklahoma City on Sunday, Nov. 15 for their last fall show, the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Collegiate Horse Judging Contest.
