The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) Livestock Judging Team traveled to Louisville, Ky. to compete in the North American International Livestock Show, the largest all-breed, purebred livestock event in the world. At the event, the team placed number 6 in the country with individuals taking home several awards.

The team performed best in the Beef category, finishing fifth place. They also had strong showings in the Sheep/Goats category and the Team Reasons category, finishing sixth in each. Along with the team performance, Cagney Effling, a sophomore from Highmore, S.D., finished High Individual in Swine and eighth place in Reasons. Alexa Montagne, a sophomore from Elk Point, S.D., finished sixth place overall.
