NEO Seeks Community Input for 2016-17 Distinguished Lecture Series

Miami, Okla. – Officials at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) are developing a 2016-17 Distinguished Lecture Series through the support of the Oklahoma State Regents’ Endowment Trust Fund. The fund was established in 1988 to strengthen academic programs and enhance the quality of higher education in Oklahoma.

“The Distinguished Lectures Committee is looking for feedback on proposed speakers to bring to campus,” said Jennifer Hessee, executive director of the NEO Development Foundation. “Since the series will be open to the community as well as students, we wanted to include the community in our planning process.”

To view the current list of proposed lecturers and leave feedback, visit https://www.neo.edu/speaker-series/ and select the community member survey. The survey provides videos and biographical information about each speaker. The survey also includes the chance to leave a suggestion for potential speakers. With politicians, best-selling authors, entrepreneurs, and celebrity entertainers, the Distinguished Lecture Series will feature a range of topics to inspire and enlighten students, faculty, and the community.

All survey submissions must be completed by Feb. 22, 2016. For more information about the Distinguished Lecture Series, contact Jennifer Hessee at Jennifer.hessee@neo.edu.
