Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 – President’s Partners from NEO provided shirts to the Lady Norse Volleyball Team for their trip to the National Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz. The team will leave on Tuesday, Nov. 17, and play Central Community College on Thursday, Nov. 19, at noon. Good luck Lady Norse!

The Lady Norse won their way to the National Tournament by winning the District O tournament. They earned the number one seed going into the tournament in Lexington, Mo. Before the tournament, head coach Eric Iverson was confident.

“We’re ready,” he said “It’s been a season of development and I think we have a really good shot to go out there, compete, and do very well.”

Lady Norse Volleyball defeated Longview Community College to advance to the national tournament. The team mounted an all-out attack with 47 kills, 7 service aces, and 47 digs. The game only lasted three sets, with NEO sweeping the opponents.

“Our girls played very well all year. Our strength is our maturity and consistency and I felt we were able to have a great season,” said Iverson.
