Dr. Jeff Hale, the president of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, (NEO) recently announced the addition of nine new faculty members to campus. New faculty members include:

•      Alisen Anderson – agriculture instructor

•      Joy Bauer – business and technology instructor

•      Calvin Becker – business instructor

•      Tom Callan – history instructor

•      Marsha Cleaver – nursing instructor

•      Meleen Froman – nursing instructor

•      Carla Murphy – reading instructor

•      Kathleen Norman – nursing instructor

•      McKenzie Nygren  – agriculture instructor

Anderson is serving as an agriculture instructor for NEO, and she is an alumna of the College. After earning her associate’s degree, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University. She is currently working on obtaining her master’s degree from Iowa State University. Before joining NEO’s agriculture department, Anderson worked in the the Center for Academic Success and Advisement (CASA) on campus.

Bauer is a business and technology instructor. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State University in business education. Bauer recently completed her master’s degree from Pittsburg State University. Like Anderson, Bauer formerly served in a staff position but for a Title III grant, before accepting a position as a full-time faculty member.

Becker will teach alongside Bauer as a business instructor. Becker earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University.

Callan is a history and government instructor. He has served in an adjunct teaching capacity at NEO for the past three years. He earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California at Berkley and his master’s degree in political science from Georgetown University.

Cleaver is new to NEO and serves as a nursing instructor. She is also an alumna of NEO, where she earned her associate’s degree. Cleaver earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Oklahoma’s Health Science Center.

Froman, an alumna of NEO’s nursing program, is now a nursing instructor. After earning her associate’s at NEO, Froman earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

Murphy is a reading instructor. She earned her bachelor’s, master’s degree and advanced degree as an Education Specialist from Pittsburg State University. Murphy previously taught at NEO.

Norman is an adjunct nursing instructor, who is also an alumna of NEO’s nursing program, where she earned her associate’s degree. Norman earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and her master of science in nursing from the University of Oklahoma’s Health Science Center.

Nygren is an agriculture instructor and an alumna of NEO. After NEO, Nygren graduated from Oklahoma State University with her bachelor’s degree. “We are proud to have such capable instructors within their disciplines,” Hale said. “High quality instructors produce high quality students.”
