Officials at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) are ordering hundreds of rolls of toilet paper as they prepare for their first home basketball game. The annual NEO Toilet Paper Game is a tradition at NEO and celebrates the first point of the season. The TP game will be Monday, November 5, 2018, as the Golden Norsemen open up the season against Central Baptist College from Conway, Ark., and the women take on Oklahoma Wesleyan University out of Bartlesville, Okla. “The toilet paper game has become quite the tradition here for our program over the last 6 years,” said Jeremy Jackson, first year head coach of the Golden Norsemen. “When we started this we were really looking for something that everyone on the campus and the community could get involved in, so this has be something that has really taken off and we are so excited for the start of an amazing season ahead.”

Toilet paper games are traditional at schools around the nation and when NEO scores the first point of the season, the crowd will throw rolls of toilet paper onto the court. The Neo team will receive a technical foul for the disturbance, but Jackson noted that it is worth it to fire up the team. Rolls of toilet paper will be handed out after the Lady Norse game. The Lady Norse will tipoff at 5:30 p.m. and the Golden Norsemen at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend and tickets are $5.
